PuffloBot – the web crawler behind Pufflo

PuffloBot is the web crawler used by Pufflo, an AI marketing service for small and medium-sized businesses. It identifies itself with this user agent:
PuffloBot/1.0 (+https://pufflo.app/bot)When does PuffloBot visit a website?
- When someone enters the website’s address in Pufflo. During sign-up we read the front page once to prefill the business details. This is rate-limited.
- When the website belongs to a Pufflo customer. We check the customer’s own website for technical problems that affect Google search and AI answers: page titles, descriptions, broken links,
robots.txt, the sitemap and structured data. Each check reads a limited number of pages.
PuffloBot does not crawl the web in general, does not collect content for AI training and does not fill in forms.
How do I stop PuffloBot?
Email hello@pufflo.app with your website address, and we will stop visiting it. If the site belongs to a Pufflo customer, the owner can also disconnect it in the Pufflo app.
